viral tags alternative

I was just thinking an alternative way on how to increase page ranks. I tried to search thru Google about free badge maker and tried it.I am not against the viral tags or viral links issue but I am just concerned about getting banned. I am sure no one here wants to get their most precious blog being banned because of posting those viral links.. right?

If anyone here read this post and are interested in link exchange, maybe this will be a great idea… Just make a comment to this post and make a badge (80×15) with your link of course and I will add you to my sidebar as a recommended links. Why don’t we just give it a try and I know it is legal right? and we will not get banned because of this…

    I’ve tried it many times too but I think the wordpress doesn’t allow posting images inside the comment area
